Update for Idaho

As most of you well know, the Obama health bill passed the senate and is now headed to conference (combination) of both houses and be voted on in January to be signed by Obama.
A Hard Fought Battle
At the National level the Tea Party groups did every thing they could to prevent this along with help from the talk shows and the conservatives in the Republican Party (less the RINOS and moderates). So far it has been demonstrated, despite all our efforts, the Democrat majorities and the President is able to ram down our throats the most convoluted, incomprehensible, unmanageable legislation in the history of US. Logic would indicate that if we can't stop healthcare, we won't be able to stop any other socialistic economy killing bills such as Cap & Trade etc. till a possible congressional majority change in 2010.
The Battle Ground Expands
Many reports indicate that this socialized healthcare when it becomes law, will by itself, be devastating to the prosperity of individuals, businesses, and the Idaho healthcare industry. The forthcoming Cap & Trade (tax) bill could complete the destruction of the Idaho and the National economy.
So how and where do we continue our fight in order to stop the insanity coming out of Washington DC? To my knowledge there is only one viable battleground left to us, and that is the battleground of state sovereignty as constitutionally set forth in the 10th Amendment.
Many of us have been working on this 10th Amendment issue for some time, but the effort at the National level has been the focus point for all the action, but it now looks like people are beginning to realize that the state borders is where this Federal Insanity could be stopped.
What We Must Do
First, in order for our state sovereignty battle to be successful we citizens of Idaho must all be willing to increase our knowledge of state legislative actions, procedures, budgets, and programs of the various state agencies.
THE OBSTACLES
One must be aware that Federal Funding into the states is the greatest impediment to overcome in our fight to achieve economic independence, but it can be overcome, as there is tremendous "fat" to be trimmed in every department. The next obstacle to overcome is the reluctance of the Legislators and Governors to assert our 10th Amendment rights.
ACTIONS TO TAKE
1.Contact your Idaho district legislators, and request the they support or introduce nullification legislation (nullify federal laws, mandates, and regulations within Idaho). Put the pressure on them, let them know they can be replaced if they won't honor your requests. Unlike trying to influence the politicians in Washington DC, you are close enough and up front, that they will listen or suffer the consequences.
2. Join a group of like minded Idaho Citizens. I heartily recommend that you join with a group called Sovereign Idaho www.SovereignIdaho.com who have organized a rally in Boise on the 18th of January. This group has a petition you can sign and distribute along with other activities. I recommend you participate at the rally January 18th in Boise.
3. If we all work together, support the Legislators and Governors when they take positive action against the Federal usurpations, we can win. This state sovereignty movement is growing across the US and is a real "game changer" unlike the proven futility of changing party majority and Presidents at the Federal level, and still getting the same old government growth in control of our freedoms.
Remember, the states created this Federal usurping monster, and only the states have the constitutional power to put it back into it's original Constitutional Cage.
