More Dangerous Than Democrats

The local RINO* establishment thinks YOU are more dangerous than Democrats. They have been terrified of the Tea Party ever since it started, even if they would like to whip us into line and take advantage of us.
Their actions speak louder than their words and they have repeatedly demonstrated that they don't support the Principles of Liberty.
You deserve to know what has gone on behind the scenes and why some of your efforts have been frustrated. It's also helpful in understanding how so many reform movements in various times and places have been thwarted by a “good ol' boys club.”

With 37.46% of the vote in the recent primary, Bannock County was Chick Heileson's third best county. Todd Hatfield won Bannock County with 54.6%.
We had about three dozen candidates run for Precinct Committeeman (voting members of the county party). With much arm-twisting the RINOs recruited 55 names for the ballot to run against our candidates and prevent us from gaining a majority on the Central Committee.
The incumbent RINO protection wing of the party drew a line in the sand with us all on the other side. They have rarely turned out the vote to defeat Democrats, but they zealously turned out the vote to defeat Constitutionalists!
Primary election voter turnout is normally pretty consistent from year to year. All things being equal, with the Tea Party surge we should have won. But notice the unusual voter turnout difference between 2008 and 2010 in Bannock County:
They've never tried to fill precinct positions like this before the Tea Party arrived. In the 2006 primary, they had 10 candidates. In 2008, there were 15 candidates not recruited by us.
When the dust settled and the election results were in, the RINOs won about two thirds of the seats on the Central Committee and we won about one third. So, as the rest of the state has known for a long time, the Bannock County Republican Central Committee is controlled by RINOs.
It's sickening to witness the political class clinging to petty positions. For what? The sake of power? If you continue to give power to the same people, you'll continue to get the same results. Our country is in crisis. Getting involved in politics is a dirty job, but someone's got to do it.
We the People must govern again! We must put principle above party and expose corruption and abuses of power at every level of government. It's time to restore the tried and true principles of individual liberty, limited government, and economic freedom.
* RINO (Republican In Name Only): rather than protecting the Constitution, they insist on being “flexible” and they exalt “compromise” as one of their highest values.
