Meet Idaho's Champion of the Constitution
. "Our U.S. Constitution has served us well for more than 220 years. In principle, it is a simple but profound document. Its magnificence isn’t due as much to the powers it grants to the Federal Government as it is to those powers not granted to it. Those who founded our nation had many historical evidences of the dangers of unfettered and unlimited government and they hoped to avoid the same fate for their new nation. I believe the principles of limited government, separation of powers, and federalism found in the Constitution are still relevant today. Our Federal Government plays an important role for our nation. However, it was not intended to replace our individual responsibilities to our God, to our families, and to each other. When the time comes to take my oath of office to uphold the Constitution, I intend to honor that oath completely." - Chick Heileson

Congressman Ron Paul of Texas enjoys a national reputation as the premier advocate for liberty in politics today. Dr. Paul is the leading spokesman in Washington for limited constitutional government, low taxes, free markets and a return to sound monetary policies based on commodity-backed currency. He is known among both his colleagues in Congress & his constituents for never voting for legislation unless the proposed measure is expressly authorized by the Constitution.
